I just signed up for Newgrounds and uploaded my first flash animation...It's really crappy but check it out and rate it anyway! It was just a basic test of the software to see what kinds of things it could do. The project was 60.8 seconds (just over a minute) long and had 731 frames playing at 12 fps. A completely new stick man was drawn for every frame, and with two stick men! Well, I kind of cheated by copying frames when a character was idle!

i for one FUCKING DETEST stick figure cartoons (due to me drawing stick figures then adding flesh over them

yet... i can sympathize with frame by frame animation, if i were you id use more layers, also! get to grips with movie clips and (if you've got flash 8 or above) the power of filters!
